Delta-Link Australia Software Architecture 8/12/2008 9:48:32 AM Delta-Link Australia needed to be able to utilize the latest software technology to easily demonstrate selected features of their School Administration System. Several issues were identified that made it difficult to design a solution. Firstly, clients were using different versions of the application, host operating system, database and runtime environment. Delta-link needed a way to reduce their dependency on versions of the underlying runtime environments...This model introduces a manageable and methodical mechanism for keeping clients updated with minimum disruption to their processes and avoiding issues of vendor lock-in and patch management.
